Electrolytic manganese flakes, it is pure manganese with Mn content between 99.7%-99.9%. It is mainly used as an additive in the manufacturing of steel.

Electrolysis is the main method of manganese metal production. Electrolytic manganese uses manganese carbonate ore powder as raw material. Leach the raw materials with sulfuric acid. Thus, a manganese sulfate solution is obtained. Then electrolytic manganese flakes are obtained by electrolysis.

After crushing and sieving the electrolytic manganese metal flakes, electrolytic manganese metal powder can be obtained. Size:-325mesh 15%max~+40mesh 1%max.

1. Added to improve mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of aluminium alloys 3000-series. Especially those used in the production of beverage can sheet alloys.

2. Mn also acts as a deoxidizer or desulphuriser in the production of Steel.

3.It is also used in the production of flux mixtures for welding rods.
